#12 - Thanksgiving prayer

Psalm 75:1

WE GIVE thanks and praise to You, O God, we give thanks,

For Your [wonderful works declare that Your] name is near;

People declare Your wonders.

AMEN.

Abba Father, we praise You today and lift up Your Holy name, be magnified, LORD of LORDS, the King of Kings, the LORD of the Heaven's armies, the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Al Shaddai, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Rapha, Yahweh, El Roi, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God of Israel, who is like You LORD, we thank you for Your mercies that are new each day and that last forever, we thank you for Your presence that is always near us and for Your promises that are yes and amen. We thank you for always staying by our side by never leaving nor forsaking us. We may have felt like you were far away from us and yet You are always near to us. We thank you for life and breath to breathe. We thank you for the gift of health and the health of our loved ones, we thank you for provision, we're thankful for Your Word and the Holy Spirit who have both renewed, purified and sanctified our lives In the Name of Jesus. We thank you for every joy, laughter and happy moments that we have spent with our friends and loved ones. We thank you for the strength You supplied to us LORD whenever we felt weak. We thank you for the wonders we have seen through saved loved ones coming to know Christ, loved ones who have been healed from sickness & terminal illnesses, baptisms, engagements, weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, work promotions, pay raises, open doors, growing in favour and love in different areas of our lives, glory to Your holy name Most High. Thank you for the disappointments and closed doors that You have also turned around for our good, truly You are a good Father and through them we see Your love for us LORD - thank you for Your perfect love. Truly, no one will ever love us like You do. We commit the remaining part of the year into Your hands and I ask that You continue to keep everyone including their loved ones safe for the rest of the year and the upcoming 2024. LORD, amaze them with Your goodness and mercy as they complete the year with hope and expectation In the Name of Jesus,

Amen.

I'll end with the Word found in 1 Corinthians 2:9:

But it is written:

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
