#9 - Power of prayer

As we conclude the series on the power of prayer, may I submit to you that that there is so much more to prayer than everything shared in this series because our God is a big God who is Supreme - there is none like Him and who will ever be like Him. Words cannot begin to humanly express His divine nature and power but He has left us with the Holy Spirit who continues to give us a revelation of our Father if we are willing and able to seek Him because at the end of the day, God desires to have a relationship with each and every one of us. One of my favourite Bible Scriptures speaks of the LORD saying to His people who were held in captivity at the time that "...you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). Therefore seek God with all your heart by reading His Word and in prayer, have a relationship with Him, allow Him to love on you, to give you a heart that loves the things He loves and hates the things He hates and there is no telling the greatness and power that will flow from a relationship of love between you, the Father and the Holy Spirit.

I'll end with this Scripture in Hebrews 13:20-21 NKJV

20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of Your One and Only Son Jesus Christ, who knew no sin but for our well-being and wholeness took on our past, current and future sins so that we could be One with You, Abba Father, as You always desired. We thank you for giving us understanding about the revelation of Your love for us in Christ Jesus. We hold onto that love and continue to ask that where there is weakness to understand and receive Your love for us, may Your grace and wisdom abound. We thank you Abba Father that you have given us the power to walk in the understanding that nothing can separate us from Your love. May our testimony of Jesus Christ forever be a firm foundation, holy and pleasing to You and the church until Your return LORD. We continue to cover everything concerning our lives in the blood of Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today and forever. We praise and glorify Your Holy Name, Creator of heaven and earth, the One and Only true God forever and ever, In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Invitation to salvation: Finally, in case you have not already, I invite you to experience the Father's love who has given us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places because we are united with Christ Jesus.

When you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God who came in a human body to die for my sins. I repent of my sin. I choose Him as my Lord and Saviour today and forever.

Congratulations, by grace you have been saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
