He's with you
Today's lead Scripture are Jesus Christ's words while He dying on the cross in Mark 15:34 NKJV
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, 'Eloi Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"
When we focus on Jesus Christ's painful crucifixion on the cross, it encourages and gives us hope not only in this life but also on this journey of salvation. He voluntarily went through, pain, suffering, shame, carried every other burden and sin in the world so you could be free from it all. John 8:36 says, "if the Son gives you freedom, you are free".
Today's lead Scripture give us hope that Jesus was forsaken on the cross by Abba Father so that God would never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). This is the reason to its important to remind oneself that God loves you too much to leave you at a time you need Him. Read that again.
My previous post was about finding joy in the midst of trials with the faith, patience and understanding that God's power will deliver you from them. Today's post is a reminder that God's love is and will always be with you as His child.
Romans 10:13 remind us that "whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved".
If you would like to know this God who will never leave nor forsake you, who loves you with an everlasting love before you ever loved Him and has given you eternal life through the faith of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ - who is also your great High Priest, I invite you to make this confession, "I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour today and forever."
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17). To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
As a new believer, I urge you to let your Pastor know that you took the confession of faith or if you don't have one, become a part of a church. I also encourage you to get water baptised as soon as possible and get yourself a physical copy of the Bible or download the Bible app on your mobile in case you don't already own one! If you have taken the confession of faith and would also like a physical copy of the Bible, please send us an email at info@bibleversionoflife.com with your address. We would love to hear your story. GOD BLESS.
I'll end with this Word in Psalm 34:4 NLT
"I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears."
Amen.
