Letters to a grieving heart
Updated: Feb 20, 2022
One day you will have more than enough strength to leave your bed and draw the curtains;
One day you will be able to fully live life and not imagine the presence of what or who you lost;
One day you will smile and laugh again with other people and have no desire to be alone;
One day, your life will not be laced with painful memories of loss and the past;
When someone asks how you are doing, you will wholeheartedly respond; "I'm well" and mean it;
One day you will rest in the truth that their absence was not meant to cripple you but empower you.
God encapsulates His love for us as His children in the Bible. Hebrews 4:12 paints a succinct picture of this love and the power of the Word of God. That is;
"For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of the soul and spirit, and of joint and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
May the wholeness and healing power of God contained in our Bibles be established in our lives and pierce every grief, sadness & loss In the Name of Jesus. Amen
Invitation to salvation: To fully witness God's love for you, I invite you to declare with your heart and confess with your mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins and today I choose Him as my Lord and Saviour.
Congratulations, by grace you have been saved and are now a new creation in Jesus Christ. Glory to God.
