Power of prayer - part 5

Father, thank you for this amazing morning, truly everyday on this earth is a miracle. We thank you for this amazing Word and ask that Your Word comes alive in our hearts, minds and souls as we read it today. May Your Word be established in our lives and bear fruit of holiness, love, joy, peace, health, favour, multiplication, prosperity and every blessing you have for us in heaven through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Today's lead Scripture is from John 15:7 and Jesus said;

"If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."

Today's lead Scripture tells us that if we abide in Jesus, and His Words abide in us, He will give us our hearts desires. One of the best ways to abide in Jesus is by abiding in the Word. John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God". To reiterate, the last three lines say and the "Word was God." The Word we read in our Bible is God. Can we pray without the Word, yes. BUT if we want our prayers to have more power, they cannot be without the Word. A good example of the power of the Word is seen in the creation story. The Word of God created the heaven and earth. What more can God's Word create and reveal for your life if you spend time reading and getting to know Him through it.

I'll end with this Scripture in John 14:13-14

13."And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14.If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

Invitation to salvation: Finally, the Word of God written above has the power to work in your life as a born again Christian. In case you have not already, I invite you to believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins. I repent of my sin. I choose Him as my Lord and Saviour today and forever.

Congratulations, by grace you have been saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.

As a new believer, I urge you to prayerfully consider becoming a member of a church and buying a Bible or downloading the Bible app on your mobile in case you don't already own one!
