Prayer embracing change
Heavenly Father,
Forgive us. Show us your mercy. We have remembered the past carrying it with us everywhere we go which has blinded us from the new things that You are doing. We have prayed to find You and yet at the same time we have been afraid to step out in faith and change our ways as may be required of us in this new season. Abba Father, forgive our disbobedice and mistrust that has manifested as fear of change. Forgive our doubts and wrong attitudes that have caused pain. Please redeem our time and teach us to number our days. Teach us to understand and do all we are meant to do skilfully and with wisdom. I thank you for the blood of Jesus that drowns every fear and anxious thoughts. We stand in authority and pull down every stronghold and every high thing and thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of God and Your plans for our lives in the Name of Jesus. Lord, we cancel out every negative word we may have knowingly or unknowingly spoken over our destinies in Jesus Name. We embrace Your peace and settle into it. The LORD Our redeemer, we trust You. Thank you for showing us the sorrow of a comfortable mind. Thank you Lord for revealing that whenever we are open to change, You are an ever present help who is closer to us than we can ever imagine. We say yes to change that aligns with your purpose Lord. Thank you for Your Word that is being rooted deeply in us and is filling up every part of our body, souls and minds In Jesus Name. We disown, bring every thought and attitude into the obedience and truth of Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for loving us enough to give us a mind like Yours. Thank you Abba Father for sending Your only Son and supplying the grace that continues to save us from our weaknesses. Thank you Holy Spirit for leading and guiding us into all truth concerning every area of our lives. What a blessing it is to have a loving Father. What a blessing it is to walk in our identity as children of the Most High God.
1 Peter 5:10-11
"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you.
To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."
