The light of Christ

Father, thank you for an amazing morning. This is the last week of 2023, thank you LORD for carrying us all through the year until this moment - Glory to God!

Today's lead Word is from John 1:4-5 NKJV

"4.In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

5.And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."

AMEN.

When you receive the grace of God by faith to become a born again believer, you have a new life found in Christ Jesus. This new life in Christ is full of light and today's lead Word says to us, "and the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it." Friend, the light of Jesus Christ that is in you is always shinning regardless of whether it's a good or bad season. Once you become born again into the Kingdom of God's light, no amount of darkness has the power to take you out of God's light because Christ becomes your Lord and Saviour. The darkness is afraid and aware that God's children are constantly in His light. The question becomes are God's children aware? God is a loving Father. His love found in His One and Only Son Christ did not save you only to abandon you at a point in your life where you urgently need His presence. God's love for His children does not turn on when we become born again only for it to revoked.

No circumstance and nothing in this world has the power to undo God's love for you that is in Christ Jesus because God's love is irrevocable and Apostle Paul in Romans 8:38-39 reaffirms us, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." I pray this Word encourages you through every season of your life that the light of Christ in your life cannot be put put by any negative circumstance or bad report in your life. May you always remember that no created thing in this world will be able to conquer you because you are in the love of God and His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ. Continue to abide in Christ by reading the Word and meditating on His promises found in the Word.

I'll end with this Word in Psalm 84:11-12 NKJV which reads,

"11.For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

12.O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You!"

AMEN.

Prayer: Abba Father, we magnify your Holy name and thank you for the Word. Thank you for Your grace, mercy and love that is limitless and without boundaries. Thank you for sending Your love Jesus Christ to die for us so we could be saved from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. Thank you for the light of Jesus Christ that is constantly shinning in our lives and drowning out every part of darkness. We repent of any known or unknown sin and ask for Your grace and mercy to enable us walk uprightly before You In the Name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Father that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus and as of today, we continue to put our trust in You as you meet every one reading this post at their point of need. We thank you in advance that no good thing will you withhold from us as we end 2023 and enter the new year In the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN. Thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation or to re commit your life to Christ: If you would like to know this God who from the beginning of creation has always wanted you to be reunited and restored in relationship with him in the Kingdom of His light through the faith of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ - whose faithful promises are yes and amen, I invite you to make this confession, "I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour today and forever."

Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17). To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
