You are safe

Today's lead Word is from Psalm 121:1-5

  1. I WILL lift up my eyes to the hills [of Jerusalem]- from where shall my help come?

  2. My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

  3. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.

  4. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber [briefly] nor sleep [soundly].

  5. The LORD is your keeper;

  6. The LORD is your shade on your right hand." AMEN.

Thank you Father that You are faithful and Your Word is truth and as you tell us you never sleep nor slumber (Psalm 121:4) concerning us, Your children. Often times, we may read that and apply it to one area of our life, it may be an issue you're currently facing difficulty with and as much as I extend my empathy to you, I also encourage you to take your eyes off that disappointment, that heartbreak, that bad report, that discouragement, that grief and look holistically at your life.

Usually when we [briefly] take our focus off the area/s of our life where we need God's breakthrough the most, we see that there is so much to be thankful to God for. Your physical body may be currently unwell but God has blessed you with financial prosperity to afford your medical bills and you have a family that loves you. You may be going through a heart break and are disappointed right now but at the same time, you are physically healthy and whole, you maybe lacking financial provision right now, but you and your family have a roof over your head and not a day goes by and you go to bed hungry.

Friend, when we decide to take our eyes off that "one thing" we may be asking God for and look at our life's whole picture, we are able to see that God's faithfulness is truly with us and has been taking care of us. So in everything, give the LORD thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18) as the Bible says. And if He has been taking care of things that we sometimes never initially took the time to notice and be thankful for, then how about that prayer point you have right now. It is also important to remember that whatever difficulty your facing, God is not the author of evil in your life. He is still the same loving Father with good plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11) and He shall surely see His promises that are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20) come to pass in your life. Friend, you are safe under Your Keeper's watch In Jesus' Name.

I'll end with this praise in Psalm 124:2-8

2.If it had not been the LORD who was on our side when men rose up against us,

3.Then they would have [quickly] swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;

4.Then the waters would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over our soul;

5.Then the raging waters would have swept over our soul."

6.Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as prey to be torn by their teeth.

7.We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the trap is broken and we have escaped.

8.Our help is in the name of the LORD who made heaven and earth.

HALLELUJAH. AMEN.

If you would like to know this God who will never leave nor forsake you, who loves you with an everlasting love before you ever loved Him and has given you eternal life through the faith of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ - whose faithful promises are yes and amen, I invite you to make this confession, "I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour today and forever."

Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17). To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.

As a new believer, I urge you to let your Pastor know that you took the confession of faith or if you don't have one, become a part of a church. I also encourage you to get water baptised as soon as possible and get yourself a physical copy of the Bible or download the Bible app on your mobile in case you don't already own one! If you have taken the confession of faith and would also like a physical copy of the Bible, please send us an email at info@bibleversionoflife.com with your address. We would love to hear your story. GOD BLESS.
