Father, today we just want to say thank you for Your mercy that endures forever. Right now, we thank you that Your Word today is opening up our eyes to see truth and have understanding that we can apply in our day to day lives in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Today's lead Word is coming from Isaiah 26:10 (NKJV)
"Let grace be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness
he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD."
Isaiah chapter 26 highlights the victory and peace of those who have the LORD God as their strength. Isaiah 26:2-3 (NKJV) reveals God's faithfulness towards those who trust in Him and He says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength."
In previous chapters, God's judgment was pronounced on all those who refuse to repent by trusting in their material possessions and worship of other gods in this world.
Today's lead Scripture reminds us that God's hand of mercy never stops reaching out. He still extends his hand of mercy and grace so that the wicked may be saved but Isaiah 26:10 above shows us the wicked continue in their wickendness and refuse to behold the majesty of the LORD. It is important to note God's heart of love that is patient and never stops pursuing us. Thankfully, His hand of mercy and grace without judgment is still stretched out to everyone even today. Romans 2:4 (NKJV) gives us a glimpse into God's heart and it says, "Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" This is the reason that when we come to God and by faith we receive His Son Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world. God remind us in Hebrews 8:12 that our sins and unrighteousness deeds He will remember no more.
Friend, thankfully God's love and mercy can never be compared to a human love. Human beings for the most part when they forgive do not forget but not God. In Psalm 103:12, the Psalmist tells us that as far as the East is from the West that's how far God has removed our wrong doings from us.
If you would like to know this loving God who completely forgives every wrong and never remembers it, please say this prayer with me; I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17) where you get to freely access everything I've shared in this post. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
I'll end with this Word found in Romans 3:22-25 (NLT).
"22.We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
23.For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.
24.Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty of our sins.
25.For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows us that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,"
AMEN, thank you LORD for Your mercy and love found in Christ.
