Isaiah 45

Father God, we thank you for all that You are, all that You have been to each one of us and all that You will be. Right now we thank you for the entrance of Your Word brings light, may that light shine forth concerning every area of our lives and direct our paths in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

Today's lead Word is from Isaiah 45:15-17 (NKJV)

"15.Truly You are God who hide Yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior!

16.They shall be ashamed and also disgraced, all of them; they shall go in confusion together; who are makers of idols.

17.But Israel shall be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; you shall not be ashamed or disgraced forever and ever."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Chapter 45 highlights the sovereign power of God with whom nothing is impossible. Often times, God references creation to reveal the majesty of His greatness. In Isaiah 45:18, "For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens, who is God, who formed the earth and made it, who has established it, who did not create it in vain, who formed it to be inhabited." When you consider the world and all of creation, it is almost unimaginable how all the sea creatures, the animals including we humans are taken care of by the One Creator, the LORD God. Keeping in mind, the earth and all that is contained in it was created by the Word of God.

Genesis 1 shows us that God in His majesty spoke all of creation into existence using His Word.

John 1:1-3 NKJV says "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." Reading these verses introduce us to a new dimension and intimacy with God, that where He once had to speak of His greatness pointing to nature as He did with the prophet Isaiah and His servant Job (Job 38), today the LORD God emphasizes another layer of His greatness which is revealed in His Word. Friend, the Word of God, that Word contained in your Bible is the revelation of God's life and power not only in the earth but also in you. So when you read and see a promise in the Word, it is yours because everything that God says He is in His Word is true and it must come to pass in the life of His people. Numbers 23:19 reminds us, for God is not a man that He should lie nor a son of man that He should change His mind.

For instance, Isaiah 45:2-3 contains a promise for God's people Israel which includes you and I as well. He says, "I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by name, am the God of Israel." - Amen, thank you LORD.

In Psalm 138:2-3 AMP, the Psalmist expresses the joy and favor he experienced as result of the power found in the Word. He says, "I will bow down [in worship] toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your Word together with Your name. On the day I called, You answered me; and You made me bold and confident with [renewed] strength in my life." - Amen. May this Word be your portion as well in the name of Jesus.

The above Scriptures read together also demonstrate that the Word of God contained in our Bibles are ultimately a revelation of a person. This person is the Son of God, Jesus Christ and in Revelation 19:13 (NKJV), we see this proof, "He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God."John 1-3 above tells us that nothing was created without Him which means there is a DNA of God expressed in Christ and this DNA is recognized in all of God's creation. For this reason, every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of God, the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).

Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV further reminds us of the power of the Word, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account." - Amen.

My prayer for you today is may you be filled with a hunger to continually know God through His Word in the name of Jesus, amen. Thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation:

If you would like to experience this perfect love in Christ where your sins are forgiven, washed away and you receive the free gift of eternal life and become a part of God's family which entitles you to receive all of His blessings and promises contained in His Word;

Please say this prayer;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.

Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17) where you get to freely access everything I've shared in this post. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
