Isaiah 56

Father, You alone are God, the Creator of heaven and earth, unmatched in power and glory. We give praises to You for You are worthy of all our praises. Who has given to You and it shall be repaid?! Thank you Abba. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven in the name of Jesus, Amen.

In Isaiah chapter 56, we see the LORD by grace extending His hand of blessing to all who are faithful enough to keep His covenant. In Isaiah 56:6, we see that this blessing and inheritance that was originally given to the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, has now been given by God to everyone who would join themselves to the LORD God to love His name and to be His servants. Romans 9:16 reminds us of God's gracious love and it says, "So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy."

The LORD promises in Isaiah 56:7 "Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations."

Friend, God is faithful and He longs to hear and answer our prayers.

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, the LORD God encourages us to pray and He says, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Prayer: Father, we thank you for the gift of communing and abiding in relationship with You through prayer. We thank you Father because in Your presence is the fullness of joy. Right now, we bow before your holy throne and come with humble hearts. Father, have mercy. We ask that you forgive our sin and heal our land in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: God sent forth His One and Only Son in love in whom is the forgiveness of sin. If you would like to receive the gift of the abundant life which is found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, please say this prayer below;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
