Father, this is the day that the LORD has made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it. We thank you Father for sending Your One and Only Son Jesus Christ who died for the sin of the world, He died so that we could be One and in relationhsip with you again LORD God. What a blessing to be One with You and call You Father, glory to God. Right now, our join our faith and in agreement, we thank you for the blessing of Your Word, for Your Word is forever settled in heaven. We ask that You give us understanding as we read and meditate on today's Word and forever write Your truth on our hearts LORD God in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Today's lead Word is from Isaiah 11:8-9 (NKJV)
"8.The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den.
9.They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea."
AMEN, thank you LORD.
Isaiah chapter 11 is a beautiful depiction of the glory of the LORD that is as a result of the abundance of the knowledge of the LORD on the earth. The chapter starts off with telling us how this knowledge will be made abundant on the earth and it originates with a Rod from the stem of Jesse, a branch to grow out of his roots and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. (Isaiah 11:1-2).
Jesse is the father of David, the second king of Israel. During king David's reign, the LORD God promised David that someone would always sit on his throne even after he passed away. This person sitting on the throne of king David, is a King and His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
In this chapter, Christ is also referred to as the Rod from the stem of Jesse above. Isaiah 11:3-5 continues to give a description of Jesse's rod and it tells us, "He is the one who does not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears; but with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth, He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips, He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist."
When Jesus was walking upon this earth as seen in the gospels, we see the above description demonstrated during His physical ministry on the earth. In the gospel of John 8:2-12, a woman caught in the very act of adultery was brought to him and instead of Jesus judging by the sight of His eyes and making a decision by the hearing of His ears, He chose mercy. When her accusers saw that Jesus did not condemn her for her sin, but rather forgave her sin, they also slowly left one by one. This Word shows us the love of God that is found in Christ, the Rod of Jesse that is too great to be articulated in words and comprehended with the human mind. Friend, God does not see things from the human perspective. Yes, judgment is His and it is guaranteed to come on all who do evil while at the same time, there is hope found in His heart full of mercy and love. If I may, the people condemning this woman represent the accusations the enemy has against God's people. Satan leads people to sin and later accuses them in God's presence but thankfully, just like then, today Jesus still chooses love and mercy whenever we have missed it. 1 John 3:1 NKJV says, "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!"
When the woman caught in the very act of adultery was brought to Jesus and as the people she was surrounded by accused her according to their traditions, she deserved to be stoned to death as punishment. Nevertheless, Jesus chose to show her love and mercy in that moment. I pray, may the accusation of the enemy and those around you never stop you from going to God and experiencing His heart of mercy and love found in His Son, Jesus Christ. The beauty about the story of the woman caught in adultery is when Jesus forgives you, the enemy no longer has a legal right to raise an accusation against you and for this reason Jesus in John 8:36 (NKJV) says, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." AMEN, thank you LORD! Jesus final words to the woman caught in adultery after He showed her mercy were, "...go and sin no more." (John 8:11).
In addition, because of this freedom we have in Christ and the abundance of His knowledge filling the earth, we see a day prepared by the LORD God where everything is at peace with each other. That is, the lion eats straw like the ox, the cows and bears graze together (Isaiah 11:7), the wolf and the lamb reside together (Isaiah 11:6) and as we see in today's lead Scripture above, a nursing child can freely play with snakes and the snake shall not hurt the baby. In Christ and His righteousness, we see God restoring His creation back to its original order where all things and all of God's creation are reconciled in harmony with each other - AMEN.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to get to know this loving and merciful God, who wants you to partake of His blessings as His child through His Son Christ, the Rod from the stem of Jesse who does not judge by the sight of His eyes and make decisions by the hearing of His eyes and in all things;
I invite you to make this confession:
Please speak the words below:
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17) where you get to freely access everything I've shared in this post. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.

I'll end with this Word found in John 1:14 (NKJV)
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
Amen, thank you LORD.
