Isaiah Ch.3-4

Father God, thank you for Your Word, We thank you for the entrance of Your Word brings light. May Your light radiate upon our lives and continue to direct our paths in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

This chapter, almost similar to the previous chapter, is about the LORD beaconing to His people through the prophet Isaiah to turn from their wayward behaviour. In the previous chapter, we saw how the LORD God is not against wealth like the silver and gold of this world but He is against the things of this world possessing one's heart and becoming idols in their life. In chapter 3 we see the daughters of Zion stripped of all their expensive garments, jewellery, perfumes, ornaments including their beauty and hair (Isaiah 3:16-24).

In the gospel of Mark, Jesus asks us a relevant question, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul." (Mark 8:36 NKJV).

In chapter 3, we also see that the LORD taking away what is fundamentally important to the functioning of Judah and Jerusalem like the supply of bread, the mighty man and the man of war, the judge and the prophet, the counselor the skilled artisan, etc (Isaiah 3:1-3). Instead if older wiser leaders, children are appointed as rulers over His people who end up oppressing and misguiding the people (Isaiah 3:12).

At the same time, we see the LORD fairness employed in His judgment where Isaiah 3:10-11 NKJV says, "Say, to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their donings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him."

Thank God for the redemption found in Isaiah 4:4 where the LORD washes away the filth of the daughters of Zion. It is important to note that once the LORD washes clean and purifies, no one can else can add or take away from His goodness and protection concerning what He has started in your life. It is the reason God sent Jesus Christ so that He could die for the sins of the world once and for all so that everyone would be saved from spiritual death and receive eternal life.

Invitation to salvation: If you would like to get to know this ever faithful God, who is an ever present help in times of need and to whom all power and wisdom belong, I invite you to make this confession that invites you to new covenant of love that is found in the precious blood of Jesus Christ where you get to become a part of a family of believers who have a personal relationship with God, the Father and with Jesus Christ, His One and Only Son as your Lord and Saviour.

Please speak the words below:

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.

Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus.
