Father, thank you for sending Immanuel, the perfect love gift. You sent us a part of You so that we could experience Your presence and remember that You are God who is always with us. Thank you. Because of You Father we know what it is to love and be loved. You are the definition of love and You have fully expressed this love in Jesus Christ. We love you LORD. Thank you for Your mercy and love that endures forever. We worship You O LORD. Receive our praise this Christmas day.

Father God, we thank you that this is the day that You have made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it in the name of Jesus. We thank you for this special time where we get to reflect on the coming of Jesus Christ into the world and what He did for us on the cross by dying for the sins of the world. Father God, we lift our praises to Your holy name and we say may Your name be glorified over all the ends of the earth in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, give us understanding and soften our hearts as we read today's Word in the name of Jesus, Amen. Isaiah chapter 7 begins with the King Ahaz in fear of a war that was about to befall him and his kingdom as King of Judah (Isaiah 7:1).
