God, our caretaker
Today's post is based on Philippians 1:6 "...being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." I hope when you read this Word, you are encouraged to lay all the pressure off of you and cast your cares unto God, our loving Father because He cares deeply for you. In the above verse, Apostle Paul is encouraging believers to believe and trust that God is more interested in every detail of their life than they may possibly imagine. God's business is take care of you through the good work of salvation that you received by grace when you accepted and confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:13 reads, For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." Friend, your job has never been to take care of yourself! This does not mean that we should be passive about boldly claiming and possessing the promises that God has for His people supposing it will magically come to us.
However, this shows that when we fellowship with the Father as believers in the gospel (Philippians 1:5), He meets our deepest needs and grants the desires of our hearts. In case you maybe wondering, some ways to fellowship with God is through cultivating a relationship with Him through reading the Bible, fellowship with other believers, singing hymns and songs of praise to God, prayer, fasting, giving to the needy, visiting the sick, orphans, widows and those in prisons. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide you as you choose to pursue fellowship with the Abba Father because He is our faithful care taker.
May this Word in Psalm 121:3 encourage you. It reads,
"He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber."
Amen. Thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to know this God who from the beginning of creation has always wanted you to be reunited and restored in relationship with who empowers you with the strength by the Holy Spirit to rejoice through all seasons, who loves you with an everlasting love before you ever loved Him and has given you eternal life through the faith of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ - whose faithful promises are yes and amen, I invite you to make this confession, "I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour today and forever."
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17). To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
As a new believer, I urge you to let your Pastor know that you took the confession of faith or if you don't have one, become a part of a church. I also encourage you to get water baptised as soon as possible and get yourself a physical copy of the Bible or download the Bible app on your mobile in case you don't already own one! If you have taken the confession of faith and would also like a physical copy of the Bible, please send us an email at info@bibleversionoflife.com with your address. We would love to hear your story. GOD BLESS.
