Your healing in Christ

Holy Spirit, we thank you for this Word. We ask that may You give us revelation in the truths that are shared today and may our hearts be good ground to yield a bountiful harvest of hundred fold and wholeness in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Today's lead Scripture is from Acts 3:12-15 NKJV

"12.When Peter saw it, he responded to the people: "Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this?

Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

13.The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His servant Jesus,

whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.

14.But you denied the Holy one and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

15.and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses."

Amen. Thank you LORD.

Before the above passage, we see a lame man outside the temple at a gate called beautiful begging for alms (Acts 3:1-4). Peter and John happened to encounter this man on their way to the temple and Peter said to him, "Silver and gold, I do not have but what I do have, I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." (Acts 3:6).

This lame man is seen receiving strength in his bones enabling him to start walking. As you may imagine, this did not cause a small stir as everyone had always known this man as lame. The above Scriptures are extracted portions from a speech that Peter shared with the people who marvelled at the lame man's miraculous healing.

However for our purposes today, I invite you to focus on the importance of Jesus' innocence in relation to receiving your miracle of healing from Him. The Bible says that Jesus Christ was the lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). It is important to see that Christ was not only the lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world but He was also a perfect and the holy lamb of God who had no sin. In John 14:30, we see that the enemy and god of this world could not find anything in Him and so did Pilate who sentenced Christ to death. This means the holy, pure and perfect lamb of God took on the sins of the world, your guilt, your shame, your diseases, your iniquities, your infirmities and everything that would ever cause you grief, worry, anxiety, depression, unrest, sorrow, you name it, Jesus bore it all in His innocent and pure body.

In turn, your good or bad actions are not what qualify you for healing because Christ was the innocent indisputable perfect offering before God the Father that destroyed the enemy's works of darkness.

Jesus bore every ugly scheme, disease and evil plan of the enemy in His body so you do not have to bear any of it in your mind, body, soul and spirit. This divine exchange that took place on the cross means Jesus Christ and His innocence (not yours!) took your place and this is the reason you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Amen.

So if there is disease in your body, do not build an alliance with it or recognize it as "your disease", rather treat it as an enemy on foreign territory believing Jesus bore every burden, sickness, disease, grief, depression, sin, infirmities, on the cross for you so you would not have to carry it. Your body is a temple of God and anything that is not of God does not belong there. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 elucidates this, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are."

Friend, in heaven there is no sorrow, sickness or diseases but there is divine health to which you are entitled to possess as a child of God because after Jesus Christ resurrected to heaven, you are now raised up and seated together with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6) and have access to all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3) which includes your healing. This should you encourage you to boldly go to the throne of God and rightfully take what belongs to you by speaking and declaring the promises of healing that God has for you in Christ Jesus. For instance in 3 John 2, the Word reminds us, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

God, the Father is not just able to heal you but He is more than willing to heal you because He has good plans for your life (Jeremiah 29:11) and these plans cannot happen when you are feeling unwell due to the enemy's evil schemes and deception. For this reason, He sent His One and Only Son Jesus Christ for your healing redemption, restoration and well being.

As result, of your faith in Christ's name, you already have and will continually possess your perfect health and complete wholeness of mind, body, soul and spirit in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

I'll end with this Word in Acts 3:16 AMPC

"And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health and complete wholeness in your presence."

Amen. Thank you LORD. Glory to God.

Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus.
