Father, we thank you for your Word. We thank you for You. May You speak to our hearts as we read the Word and may we practice this Word in our lives as well in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Today's lead Word is from Isaiah 28:26 (NKJV)
"For He instructs him in right judgment, His God teaches him."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Isaiah chapter 28 is a reflection of God's heart of instruction and the significance of teaching people about His way. Now more than ever, the LORD is desiring for all to seek Him wholeheartedly so that He can reveal His ways and His character to us.
In this chapter, we also see the frustration of the LORD, with the prophets and priests who have drunk intoxicating drink and now their visions are not aligned with God's heart and stumble in judgment (Isaiah 28:7). I find this humbling in the sense that in God's eyes our reliance on seeking Him is not optional and no one is above seeking God's heart. In Isaiah 28:10 NKJV, we see that the LORD's desire concerning His Word is to bring understanding and knowledge to the people. It says, "For precept must be upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, there a little and there a little." It is evident that the LORD's goal is not to overwhelm with you information but to open the eyes of your understanding so that you are able to receive the full revelation of God's love that is found in His One and only Son, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 3:19 (NKJV) encourages us that "to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." To reiterate, knowing God's love for you found in Christ is to be filled with all the fullness of God! This is the reason God has blessed and equipped the church with apostles, evangelists, prophets, pastors and teachers who help the build the body of Christ by sharing the Word so that the body of Christ may be united in faith and in the perfect knowledge of His Son Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13).
In addition, Genesis 1:27 reminds us that we were created in God's image so when we receive God, the Father's love embodied in Christ, we are restored back to our original place of identity and purpose because the sin that once separated us from the Father has now been completely washed away by the precious blood of Jesus. Amen.
If you would like to know this loving God who desires for you to come to the complete and full revelation of His love found in Christ Jesus, please confess this prayer with your mouth and believe it with your heart;
I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17) where you get to freely access everything I've shared in this post. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
I'll end with this Word found in Proverbs 4:20-22 (NKJV)
"20.My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
21.Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;
22.for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh."
AMEN., thank you LORD.
