Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ. We come in agreement Father and lift up your holy name God, Yahweh, Elohim, the One and Only true God, the Everlasting God, the Creator of the heaven and earth, the LORD God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Yahweh, the Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Jehovah Shamma, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi, the Ancient of days, the Alpha and Omega, we give you all the praise and adoration and say may Your name be lifted up and forever be magnified in all the ends of the earth, Amen.

Today's lead Word is from Isaiah 51:7-8 (NKJV)

7."Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, you people in whose heart is My law: do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their insults.

8.For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but My righteousness will be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation."

Amen, thank you LORD.

In this chapter, again the LORD is speaking comfort to the weary. The LORD also reminds His people to not be afraid of the oppression of their oppressors but instead God encourages His people to look to Him.

In Isaiah 51:12- 13 He says, "I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die, and of the son of a man who will be made like grass? And you forget the LORD your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth; you have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor when He has prepared to destroy."

Despite the enemy's noise and threats, the LORD God is reminding His people to look to Him (Isaiah 51:1-2). The LORD God reminds us today that our fear should be in Him who contains all the power and not the fear that stems from the oppression of enemy.

I find it fascinating that the moth will eat up God's enemy including the oppressor of His people. It is not a lion, a wolf or an elephant but a moth, a small insect. I believe the LORD emphasizing a moth eating up the enemies of His people in both chapter 50 and 51 reveals that what may sometimes appear as a mountain or this big issue is nothing in comparison to God's power. So I believe this is the attitude that God wants us to have that what appears as a big situation or challenge is nothing before Him, the One who created and formed us in our mother's wombs as seen in Jeremiah 1:5. Again, in Jeremiah 33:27, the LORD God says, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" - Indeed nothing is too hard for our God.

The LORD continues to remind us through Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:27 NKJV, "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty."

This chapter also reminds us that the enemy and the oppressor who have chosen rebellion against God's ways will utlimately face God's righteous judgment. On the other hand, as a child of God, God is still writing and re writing, your story and it is beautiful. The LORD desires that we experience the beauty of the beautiful life He created for you not only eternally but also here on this earth that He created so be encouraged with this hope. Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NKJV, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Prayer: Father God, we thank you for all that You are and today we come in agreement with Your Word that never returns to You void. Thank you for being a source of comfort, hope and strength. Thank you that because we have you as our God, we will not be afraid for You have not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of love, power and a sound mind. Thank you that You are still writing our stories and they are beautiful. Thank you Father that in Your love, we have joy, gladness, victory and deliverance. Thank you that indeed our light affliction was for a moment. Thank you that today, You LORD God have permanently delivered Your people from every oppression of the enemy into everlasting joy, peace and thanksgiving worshipping Your holy name in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

I'll end with this Word found in Hebrews 12:1-3 (AMP):

"1.Therefore since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith testified to the truth of God's absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us,

2.[looking away from all that will distract us and] focussing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].

3."Just consider and meditate on Him who endured from sinners such bitter hostility against Himself [consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

Amen, thank you LORD.
