Father God, we thank you for Your comfort and Your love that has remembered Your people. We thank you that indeed and truly You will never leave nor forsake Your own so we give you all the glory and praise in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Today's lead Word is from Isaiah 52:1-2 (NKJV)
"1.Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come to you.
2.Shake yourself from the dust, arise; sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion!"
3.For thus says the LORD: "You have sold yourselves for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Isaiah 52 is beautiful in many ways because God is speaking comfort to His people, the kind of comfort that not only physically makes them free but most importantly spiritually frees them from every yoke of bondage. In the above verse, we see the LORD telling His people to loose their necks from the bonds of the enemy and He promises to redeem them freely and without money.
At the same time, the LORD makes it clear that He sets His people through a sent man or woman for Isaiah 52:7 reiterates this, "how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" - May you be that person whose feet brings good news of salvation to God's people and the one who also receives glad tidings from God's people. May you be loosed from every yoke that is not of God in your life in the name of Jesus. By the power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, put on strength, put on your beautiful garments and rejoice in the LORD who has redeemed you from every power of darkness into the kingdom of His beloved Son without money in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
I'll end with this Word found in Isaiah 52:9-10 (NKJV)
"Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem! For the LORD has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.
The LORD has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God."
Amen, thank you LORD.
