The blessing of love

Heavenly Father, we ask that Your Word comes alive to us as we read and meditate on it In Jesus Name.

Today's lead Scripture is Romans 5:6-11 NKJV and it says;

6. For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

7. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.

8. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9. Much more than, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

10.For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

11And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

AMEN

John 3:16 tells us that "for God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." God's love is for humanity as a whole. This Word is not limited to a specific religion, sect or group of people. God's love for us is more about His love for us than it is about the world's recognition or our love for Him. God's love for the world and humanity as a whole is reiterated in Romans 5:8 and Romans 5:6 as seen above where God sent His Son Christ Jesus to die for us despite our sins. Apostle Paul writes Romans 5:10 to remind us that if God's love could go the extra mile for us even before we knew about Him or His love for us, then how about now when we are reconciled to God as born again believers that have been saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hence, the reason the Bible in 2 Corinthians 3:18 says we "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord".

The gospel and grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, transforms our lives, it adds and multiplies blessings to our lives. It does not take away, condemn or demand from us because Jesus Christ finished it all on the cross so that we could be free (John 8:36) forever. HALLELUJAH.

This is the blessing of love that our Heavenly Father has given us, the blessing of Jesus Christ that has made us new creations (Ephesians 4:22-24) and given us eternal life.

I'll end with Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV

"28.Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30.For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Thank you LORD. Amen
