The search for the LORD of hosts

This is the day that the LORD has made and we praise Him for His mercies, love and protection that He has bestowed on us today and forever. Today's lead Word comes from Psalms 91:14-16 and it says,

"14.Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because He has known My name.

15.He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him.

16.With long life I will satisfy him, And show My salvation."

AMEN.

When I read this Word, it has the faithfulness of the Father written all over it. He loved us before we ever loved Him or even knew about His existence. In Jeremiah 1:5, the Bible tells us, that God knew us before were formed in our mother's womb. You will not love on God and worship Him in Spirit and in truth - which is His Word (John 4:24) only for Him to be unfaithful to you. He tells us, His children, that those who believe in Him will never be put to shame. In the book of Isaiah 54:4, we see a prophetic Word from the LORD comforting the are broken hearted and the disappointed which says, "Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth and, will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. Sometimes when we look at the past and contrast it to where we are currently, we may wonder if we are doing the right thing or perhaps even question some of the decisions that we previously made and whether there is hope for the future. However, allow me to bring to your submission that Jesus Christ is our hope and Redeemer. When you are in Christ, all the years that may have wasted away whether by your own intention or not, Jesus Christ has already taken care of it by restoring all that the enemy had stolen for you (Joel 2:25) when you believe in Him. Isaiah 54:5 also elaborates on this and tells us, For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. I want you to take a second and recognize that you [insert your name], have the attention of the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth! And His attention for you is not something that You have to work towards, it was settled when love came to earth in a human body - His name is Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of the Father who knew no sin but became sin so that we could be made right with the Father (2 Corinthians 5:21).

You don't have to be a celebrity or an influencer, you just have to be you and set your love upon the Father through prayer and reading your Bible as He has already set His love upon you. In Jeremiah 29:12-13, the LORD of hosts spoke to His people saying, "Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."

Today's lead Scripture tells us that because we have set our love upon God, He delivers us, answers our prayers, satisfies us with long life and shows us his salvation. When we set our eyes upon God, there is no telling of the amazing blessings that God has in store for us as His children. In 1 Corinthians 2:19, it is written;

"Eye has not seen,

nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." Amen.

In case you are reading this and you are not yet a believer but you want to know this God who takes away your sins, and makes you new and gives you the power to live a new and holy life, dead to sin and alive to God, I invite you to make this confession, "I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I choose Him as my Lord and Saviour today and forever."

Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17). To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
