This is the day that the LORD has made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you Abba for breath in our lungs and for a new day. Thank you Abba for the gift of life. We lift up our brothers and sisters who may be grieving the loss of their loved ones or the ones whose hearts are not at peace for any other reason, comfort every broken hearted person LORD Jesus and may supply them with a spirit of joy and gladness for every feeling of heaviness in the name of Jesus. May You LORD also give them beauty for ashes for weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. I come in agreement with you as we speak joy and strength for every heart that needs it in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Today's blog is based on chapter 24 of Genesis. Genesis 24:1 reads, "Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things." This verse signifies God's faithfulness, that when God blesses, He does not just bless certain areas of your life and then leaves you struggling in other areas. The above Scripture shows us that Abraham was blessed in all things, and if God did it for Abraham, He is more than able to do the same for you as well. James 1:17 reminds us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
This chapter continues where we see Abraham instructing the oldest servant in his household to go find a wife for his son, Isaac in his home country (Genesis 24:2-4). However, the servant was strictly warned by Abraham to ensure that by no means would Isaac move to Abraham's home country (Genesis 24:6 and 8). Abraham also assured his servant that the LORD God that he serves would ensure that his journey of finding Isaac a wife would be successful (Genesis 24:7). So the servant set out with ten camels to Mesopotamia, the city of Nahor (Genesis 24:10). By the time he arrived, it was evening time, a time when women out to draw water from the well. He prayed to the LORD God in Genesis 24:14 "Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, 'Please let down your pitcher that I may drink,' and she says, 'Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink' - let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Isaac. And by this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master."
Literally, the next verse says before the servant had finished speaking, behold Rebekah who happened to be a descedant of Abaraham's biological lineage came to the well to collect water as well (Genesis 24:15).
Psalm 37:4 tells us that, "Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart." This story in Genesis 24 is a good illustration of the LORD granting him the desires of his heart. Isn't it amazing, that God grants us the desires of our hearts and not our lips because sometimes our lips are not aligned to the reality of what we truly need whether be it consciously or unconsciously. But thank God who can clearly see the truth that is found in every person's heart.
We also see to Abraham servant's amazement, when he approached Rebekah for some water from her pitcher, Rebekah not only was approachable but she also gave him water for himself and for all his ten camels just as the servant had desired in his heart (Genesis 24:17-20).

I'll end with this Word found in Jeremiah 17:10 (NKJV)
"I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings."
AMEN. THANK YOU LORD.
